Cherbridge Cottage is a delightful three bedroom conversition of a 1930s ex-punting station, set in large secluded gardens alongside the River Cherwell. The property is located 2 miles from the centre of Oxford, easily reached by car or cycle track, although a car would be recommended.
The cottage is thoughtfully designed with attention to detail in every aspect. The entrance hall is tastefully decorated and immediately makes you feel at home as you enter. To the left as you enter is the sitting room with comfortable seating, fireplace with hearth and modern television and entertainment equipment. Further along the hall are the large kitchen with serving hatch into the living area and breakfast table seating four. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with modern appliances including dishwasher, range cooker and combined washing machine/tumble dryer.
Both kitchen and living room open out onto a decking area leading down to the river where there is plenty of wildlife including muntjack, pheasant, kingfishers, heron and swans - small children should be supervised near the waters edge.
One single bedroom is located on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room. Two further bedrooms are located upstairs, both are large and classically decorated. One of the double bedrooms can be equipped with either a double bed or twin single beds depending on the guests preference. The master bedroom with double bed has an en-suite shower room with an impressive stone floor and sloping ceilings. The family bathroom is also located on this level and is equipped with bath with shower over, wc and wash basin.
The property is equipped with ample off road parking on the gravel driveway and wireless broadband internet access.
